Green Connect is a not-for-profit social enterprise that employs young people and former refugees to do work that helps the planet and the community.
Our diverse activities include an award-winning permaculture farm, where most of our supported staff start their employment journey. We are building on the skills and interests of our staff to create a gardening service for commercial, government and residential customers, and we need a top-notch Gardening and Landscaping Coordinator to lead the way. This service will focus on eco-friendly commercial garden maintenance, residential projects (e.g. garden blitzes) and government projects (e.g. planting street trees) that creates jobs for young people and former refugees.
This person must have gardening, landscaping and/or bush regeneration expertise, be committed to working with supported staff from diverse backgrounds, administration skills, and combine initiative and drive with strong values that match Green Connect’s – earth care, people care and fair share.
As part of a social enterprise, and leading a new service within it, you will need flexibility, initiative and goodwill. You will be part of a team of passionate, authentic, brave and kind individuals who are committed to both social and environmental change for the better.
