It doesn’t get much fresher or more local than this! As much of the fruit as possible in this healthy box is grown on the Green Connect farm in Warrawong (next to Port Kembla in Wollongong), although we’re about two years away from our trees bearing enough fruit for all customers so some is from other organic producers.
We follow permaculture and organic principles so there are no pesticides or other nasty chemicals. We are not (yet) certified organic producers but are the closest thing to it. They call it “chemical free” or uncertified organic.
We employ former refugees and young people on our little piece of paradise, and regularly offer our customers the chance to come and meet the team and see where and how our food is grown.
Each fortnight we put a variety of fruit in your box, which will change according to what is in season. You can exclude up to three things and we’ll put something else in their place (e.g. if you don’t like apples or you grow your own, we will leave that out and replace it with something else on the weeks we’re putting apples in the box).
The box contains a similar quantity of fruit to what is shown in the photo above, which was taken at our farm.
You can pause your box or cancel at any time, either by logging in and managing your subscription online, by calling us on (02) 4243 1537, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We love questions, feedback and ideas so don’t hesitate to get in touch!
