What we do

Green Connect is a not-for-profit social enterprise that employs young people and former refugees in jobs that help the planet and the community – reducing waste and growing fair food.

What we do at Green Connect:

The Farm

We grow and sell food from our 11-acre urban farm in Warrawong NSW. Food that is good for those who grow it (fair wages and good jobs), those who eat it (healthy and organic) and good for the planet (sustainable and organically grown).

Veg Boxes

We use organic principles to produce fruit, veggies, herbs, eggs, honey, flowers, and free-range meat. Veg boxes are packed and delivered on Wednesdays.

Activities

Come visit the farm and see what we do. We offer a range of opportunities to visit the farm, including Farm Kindy, Open Days, Tours and School Excursions.

Work Readiness Program

Green Connect helps those with more than the average barriers to employment, particularly former refugees and young people.

Last year, Green Connect

Kept 143 tonnes of waste out of landfill

Grew and distributed 34,859 kgs of fair food
