Green Connect have been working with event organisers, schools, councils and businesses since 2011.
Our Zero Waste team are experienced in undertaking waste audits and creating waste management plans, providing waste education and assisting events on their journey towards zero waste.
We reduce, reuse, recycle and compost as much as possible.
WASTE CONSULTING
Sending waste to landfill costs a lot of money and is terrible for the environment. We’d like to help. Green Connect can work with your organisation to become more sustainable:
- Understanding waste pathways (doing waste audits to figure out where your waste comes from and where it currently ends up)
- Identifying source reduction and waste diversion opportunities
- Assessing waste management systems and plans
- Establishing baseline data (measuring the different types of waste) and measuring performance over time
- Providing meaningful reports for stakeholders
- Educating users about new waste systems, and avoiding, reusing, reducing and recycling waste (option to include cultural awareness training to hear personal experiences from former refugees at Green Connect)
- Annual audits including recommendations to maintain, improve and promote outcomes
