Green Connect exists to create jobs that are good for the community and the planet.
Climate change puts many of those jobs, as well as the work we do to recover waste at outdoor festivals, and the fair food we grow on our permaculture farm, at risk. It puts lives at risk, livelihoods at risk, and our entire planet at risk.
In the words of the Global Climate Strike:
This September, millions of us will walk out of our workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers on the streets and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels.
Our house is on fire – let’s act like it. We demand climate justice for everyone.
