Green Connect’s Environmental Educators love nothing better than talking about sustainability, food, waste and our natural world. We can offer curriculum-linked presentations about:

  (caring for places, understanding life, biodiversity)

High School Presentations

Green Connect’s Environmental Educators love nothing better than talking about sustainability, food, waste and our natural world. We can offer curriculum-linked presentations about:

• Geography
  (sustainable biomes, landscapes and landforms, changing places, environmental change and management, human-env interactions, and more)
• Science
  (Living world, Earth and Space, Ecosystem dynamics)
• Earth and Environmental Science
  (Climate science, resources management, human impacts)
• Agricultural technology
  (Plant and animal production, agricultural systems and management)

Plus general presentations about sustainability, waste and environmental topics.

Workshops for all ages

Let Green Connect bring our popular hands-on workshops to your school! Students will love the opportunity to get their hands dirty, as well as enjoy plenty of interactive discussion about sustainability. Topics include:

• Revive your school’s compost bin
• Kickstart your veggie garden
• Wonderful worms: start a worm farm.

Ongoing support

Green Connect offers ongoing support in the form of regular, facilitated workshops for maintaining your school’s:

• Compost pile
• Wormfarm or
• Veggie garden

Booking & Costs

The frequency and duration of these sessions is up to you – book us once or twice a term, or as needed.
Costs for incursions will vary depending on the duration and frequency of your arrangement.
Generally, visits cost around $80/hour, plus any materials required

(worm farm, worms, etc).
