Private Farm Tour

We invite you and your group to join us for a private tour at Green Connect farm!

We are excited to work with you to provide a farm experience designed especially for your group at a date and time that suits you. Private Farm Tours are great for garden clubs, scout/guide groups, a big bunch of friends and family, or any group of people wanting to experience the magic of the Green Connect farm and learn about how we grow chemical-free food!

Come and see what happens when you take 11 acres of scrub, a team of passionate hardworking staff and volunteers, then add the philosophies of permaculture and organic farming principles.

Your group will explore and get hands on in our market gardens, where we grow the majority of our produce, our food forest that is slowly producing fruit, and the bush regeneration site that nourishes the farm and the land in so many ways. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of our animals including our free-range sheep, goats, pigs and chickens who love a good feed.

We’ll work with you to figure out what topics and activities you’re most interested in and weave those into a fun, interactive and thought-provoking, experience for your whole group,

A 1-hour private tours costs $300 for a group of up to 30 people. If you’d like a bit more time, we can add 30 minutes for $50. Discounts are available for non-profit and community groups. Please contact us for more information.

Before you book, please consider the following:

  • The site is a working farm and visitors must participate in a safety briefing before entering. We ask all tour participants to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of their tour to ensure we start on time.
  • The terrain at the farm is particularly steep and slippery in parts. Though we do take it slowly, the tour involves a moderately strenuous walk and is not accessible for prams, wheelchairs, or people with moderate mobility issues. See the video below to ensure you will be able to walk the site.
  • Plants love rain and so do we! We don’t cancel tours in wet weather unless there is a dangerous storm. Rain (and mud!) is all part of the fun.
  • Allergen advice: Our farm is home to domestic animals as well as bees, wasps, and macadamia trees. Please pack an EpiPen if allergic and keep it with you at all times.
  • To ensure compliance with current NSW Government restrictions, we have put in place a range of measures to keep tour participants safe. If you have visited a COVID-19 hotspot within 14 days of your tour or if you come down with cold or flu-like symptoms, we will ask you to contact us and stay home.

All tour participants must:

  • Wear enclosed shoes or boots (sorry no thongs or sandals allowed) and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Long pants are recommended.
  • Bring a hat and sunscreen or rain gear, depending on the weather forecast.
  • Bring a water bottle pre-filled with water.

Cancellation Policy – Private Farm Tour tickets are:

  • Fully refundable up to 5 days before the tour date and time
  • Transferable or 50% refundable up to 2 days before the tour date and time
