Are you curious about the growing social enterprise sector?
Are you interested in starting your own social enterprise?
Are you part of a social enterprise in Wollongong and want to work through some of the challenges you’re facing with people in the sector?
This winter Green Connect is running a series of workshops aimed at people wanting to know more, do more and grow more in the social enterprise space. For-purpose businesses, capitalism 2.0, business for good, impact enterprises… whatever you like to call it, social enterprise is a growing sector that is solving some of the world’s biggest social and environmental challenges in a new way, underpinned by good financial models.
All workshops are hosted at the Green Connect Farm (a 10 year old social enterprise) and supported by funding
from Wollongong City Council. Workshops are free to attend but places are limited and bookings essential.
For more information and to reserve your place, check out each of the workshops:
- Introduction to Social Enterprise, Wednesday 23 June
- How to Start a Social Enterprise, Wednesday 28 July
- Troubleshooting for Social Enterprises, Wednesday 25 August
