This 90-minute Family Farm Tour will include an interactive and informative tour, on which you’ll visit the thriving market gardens and food forests and seek out the free-range goats, sheep, pigs and chickens to offer them a pat and a feed! You’ll learn about the incredible story of the Green Connect Farm and hear about how we work with nature to grow and distribute food in a truly sustainable way. Please note, this Family Farm Tour does not include play time in the children's garden. If you have younger children and would like an experience which involves play time, please book in for our School Holiday Play Day. This Family Farm Tour is suitable for children and families of all ages. Please arrive promptly at the time advertised on your ticket, we will leave for the Farm tour no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled time, and late arrivals may not necessarily be able to join the tour if we have already departed. -

Green Connect is an award-winning 11-acre farm located in Wollongong, NSW, producing free-range eggs, meat, and organic vegetables, fruit and herbs. We offer school holiday farm play days, providing children with a fun and educational outdoor experience. The Green Connect Farm is a very special place to connect with nature, play and burn some energy in the fresh air. Play Day sessions are best suited for children aged 2-7 years. Younger and older children are welcome, but families with older children may wish to consider our School Holiday Family Farm Tour. Activities may include:- Taking an adventure through the farm to learn about food production and the environment
- Feeding the pigs fresh produce
- Meeting the chickens and maybe even collecting the eggs
- Patting and feeding the goats and sheep
- Stirring up some magic in our mud kitchen
- Harvesting and tasting fresh food growing wild around the farm
- Building shelters from bamboo and recycled fabric
- Playing with our repurposed loose parts in the children’s garden
