A very big thank you to the kind, generous and upbeat nuns at Nan Tien Temple who contacted us to donate a huge amount of rice, noodles, cakes, socks, toothbrushes and toothpaste. (They’re so lovely that they thanked us (!!) for allowing them to help others at this difficult time!)

Knowing how many people are in need across our community, we dropped a carload of food each to Wollongong Homeless Hub, HopeStreet Community Service and Need a Feed. The rest will go into care packages.

Annie and I came back from picking up these items with renewed energy and belief in the kindness of strangers. Thank you Nan Tien!
